However, thereâs one key detail in the new top thatâs certainly dividing the punters.

It received a mixed reception upon its launch to say least.

More than a fortnight on, the Gers have now unveiled their new home kit for the 2026/27 campaign.
Itâs a kit thatâs been well trailed with leaked images circulating for some time.
The strip is a big change from recent tops and is a throwback to the 1980s.
As expected, blue is the dominant colour but the new kit includes white pinstripes up and down.
The sleeves and collar have a white and red trim.

Itâs a strikingly similar look to the kit Rangers wore between 1982 and 1984.
Rangers posted a video on social media with several stars from the menâs and womenâs teams, including Connor Barron, Ryan Naderi and Nichola Docherty â wearing it for the first time.
It is, of course, a new kit for a new era with Derek McInnes having taken over as Gers manager.
The kit, manufactured by Umbro, has gone down well with Rangers fans.
Many took to social media to hail it as a âbelter.â

However, loads have been pointing our a key detail that they do NOT like about the kit.
And that is a specific situation regarding the shirt sponsor.
Once again, itâs Unibet whose logo is emblazoned across the front of the kit.
But itâs the actual application of the sponsor and specifically the blue kit around the white text thatâs left fans unimpressed.
One said: âWhy is there blue behind the sponsor? That ruins it.â

A third posted: âThat sponsor application is absolutely horrendous.â
