Albion have completed the signing of Jimmy-Jay Morgan from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
The striker, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, arrives at The Hawthorns after penning a four-year contract.
Morgan impressed on loan with Sky Bet League One side Peterborough last season - where he scored 14 goals and claimed four assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
The 20-year-old, Poole-born England youth international also turned out for Gillingham in the 2024/25 campaign, having previously been in the academy teams at Chelsea and Southampton.

âI heard of Albionâs interest about two weeks ago. The club moved things on and we managed to get it all agreed pretty quickly.
âMy conversation with the manager was good. He told me about the style of football he wants to play and how Iâm going to fit into that.
âHe also spoke about the work he wants to do with me to help bring out my best attributes.
âIâve heard nothing but positive things so far and I understand how big the club is. The size of the club is one of the main reasons why I wanted to join.
âI feel very happy. I want to help the club finish in a much higher position than last year, and, individually, I want to play as much as I can, learn as much as I can and, hopefully, score plenty of goals.â
