FT: Harlequins 17-26 Sale
Harlequins head coach Jason Gilmore speaking on Premier Sports: "It was just a frustrating game. A lot of penalties in that first half, could not get any territory, or good ball.
"Even in the second half with some rhythm, it was messy at the breakdown. To score three tries to two and lose a game on penalties is hugely frustrating."

FT: Harlequins 17-26 Sale
Sale's Tom Roebuck speaking on Premier Sports: "We saw the effect of the wind in that first half so we wanted to be at our physical best, because the kick game we often go to was not as effective with this wind.
"The forwards earned those tries with the graft that they put in, I am more than happy for those boys to score tries.
"We are happy to take on either team (next week), just focus on us, and at our dominant physical best we will give them a challenge."
Cowan-Dickie on injury
FT: Harlequins 17-26 Sale
Luke Cowan-Dickie, who scored Sale's two tries, looked to have hurt himself near the end and he's told Premier Sports the latest: "I am not 100% (sure), but I have damaged my forearm in some shape. I’ll get some scans and see what has happened, it is throbbing a bit, there is a bit of movement, hopefully just a dead arm.
"We saw more of a Sale Sharks performance today, we weathered some of their lightning bolt moments and came away with a win."
'We found a way to win'
FT: Harlequins 17-26 Sale
Sale fly-half George Ford speaking to Premier Sports: "It's huge. Our Prem campaign has not gone as we would have liked, but we’ve had a decent run in Europe. This was a tough game, they are in a similar position to us so we are delighted to win and excited for next week.
"We can look to the future all we want, but we have not been good enough to do that. We just need to focus on getting better and improving, if we do that we will put decent positions in the long run.
"The start was massive, into the wind and we wanted to build a score and exert pressure. Going in at 16-0 up was good, Quins came back in the second, we had some ups and downs but found a way to win in the end."
Full-time
Harlequins 17-26 Sale
George Ford boots the ball to the stands behind his own line, and Sale are into the last eight.
Harlequins were excellent after the break and ran in some superb tries, but they left themselves too much to do after a lacklustre first half.
