FOOTBALL star Cristiano Ronaldo is set to marry fiancée Georgina Rodriguez on the island where he was born and raised.
The pair appear to have decided to get hitched in Madeira.

The cathedral in the islandâs capital Funchal is booked for a big wedding next Saturday, according to local reports.
Appropriately, weddings there kick off at 3pm.
Portugal star Ronaldo, 41 â who grew up in Funchal â and model Georgina, 32, are said to have reserved the nearby five-star Savoy Palace hotel for the reception.
A source said: âGuests at the hotel have been told two floors will be out of use on Friday and Saturday, as well as several bar areas.â
Ex-Manchester United forward Ronaldo now plays in Saudi Arabia.
He met Georgina, who is Spanish-Argentinian, in 2016 and proposed to her last August.
Last week the couple were snapped wearing diamond rings as they boarded a yacht in Majorca.
Ronaldo said previously that he and Georgina planned to marry after the World Cup, from which Portugal were ousted by eventual winners Spain last month.

The striker told Piers Morgan: âI hope to arrive at my wedding with the championâs trophy.â
He said Georgina was the only woman he had dated that he had wanted to settle down with.
