Max Ojomoh and Noah Caluori will have the chance to press their case for Test starts after being named in the England backline to take on a France XV in a non-cap match in Vannes on Friday.

Centre Ojomoh scored a try and was named player of the match in the win over Argentina in November, but has not played for his country since.

Nineteen-year-old Caluori, who has spelled out his ambition to make his England debut this summer, topped the Prem's regular-season try-scoring charts and dominated opponents aerially in a sensational breakout season with Saracens.

Ojomoh is paired in midfield with Gloucester's Seb Atkinson, with Bristol's Benhard Janse van Rensburg, who becomes eligible to represent England at Test level next month, named on the bench.

The Rugby Football Union successfully contested Janse van Rensburg being tied to South Africa by a 2016 appearance for their under-20 side, and he is likely to be given an opportunity by England against Fiji and Argentina on 11 and 18 July respectively.

England XV: M Smith; Caluori, Ojomoh, S Atkinson, Murley; Ford, Randall;Opoku-Fordjour, Dan, Kloska, Ewels, Martin, Hill, Curry, Dombrandt.
