Veteran winger Ryan Hall - who made his debut against the same opposition at the 2007 Magic Weekend - limped off after just 20 minutes and had his left foot in a protective boot following the match. Coach Brad Arthur confirmed he will miss next Saturdayâs visit to Catalans Dragons, though the full extent of the damage is not yet known.
âWe are hoping he has ruptured his plantar fascia,â Arthur said in his post-match press conference. âIf thatâs the case [heâll be out for] a couple of weeks, but if itâs still hanging in it might be just a little bit longer. We wonât know that until probably tomorrow.â
Chris Hankinson switched from second-row to the wing after Hall went off. He is an option to start there next week, though winger Riley Lumb was an unused member of Sundayâs 21-man squad and outside-back Alfie Edgell is now fit and available after suffering a thigh injury in pre-season.
Rhinos had another scare late in the game when scrum-half Jake Connor took a bang to a shoulder making a tackle. He needed treatment on the field, but was able to play on and finished the match Arthur said: Been carrying a bit of a stinger for a while. He came in nice and physical and I think he is fine.â
