Leeds United under-21s will participate in next season's Vertu (EFL) Trophy and the young Whites have now learned who they will play against in the group stage of the competition.
Scott Gardner's side have been placed in northern section Group G alongside fellow Yorkshire club Barnsley, Micky Mellon's Oldham Athletic from EFL League Two and Fleetwood Town, who Leeds also faced last season.
As per the rules of the competition, Leeds U21s will face all three of their Group G opponents away from home. Dates and ticketing details for all three fixtures are yet to be announced.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stages with matches regionalised until the quarterfinal stage. As part of the EFL's broadcast deal, every EFL Trophy match will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.
