Remember this time last year when we were all obsessed with the Alexander Isak transfer saga? Hasn't really worked out yet has it?
It isn't just the Liverpool man who it all seemed to have affected negatively either, with Newcastle also going on to have a poor season.
Magpies midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has been reflecting on that while at the World Cup.
He said:
"I see the whole process. I don't think any one isolated incident (Isak) changed our course. We lacked a run of good performances, consistency in the starting eleven, we suffered some injuries, and all of that had an impact."
So there you are.
There are more reports around Federico Chiesa popping up this morning, but in truth nothing has really changed with the Italian.
He has his fans, but it would still be hugely surprising to see him remain at Liverpool beyond this summer.
Hopefully he can resurrect his career in Italy, but it just hasn't worked out for him in the Premier League.
All hypthetical for now of course, and we know that City deny all charges, but The Times report that Burnley's success in their financial claim against Everton has opened up the possibility that Liverpool could be entitled to over £100m from their rivals if they are found guilty of serious breaches of Premier League inancial rules.
There's more on that all here.
To a name who is never out of the transfer rumour mill now: Nico Williams.
The Spain winger may be preparing for the World Cup, but that hasn't stopped him being linked with a move away from Athletic Bilbao this summer.
Teamtalk place Arsenal at the top of the list of those in the hunt for him, but they say Liverpool are in there too along with both Manchester clubs.
Seems like an unlikely one, unless Andoni Iraola can work his Basque charm?
We'll start with the man on everyone's lips.
Yan Diomande continues to be the name most solidly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, and there is clearly interest there from the Reds.
Diomande is currently in Pennsylvania ahead of Ivory Coast's World Cup opener against Ecuador at midnight on Sunday night though.
A few Reds might be interested onlookers for that one.
