âThis morning we found out the results of Cutiâs MRI. Thank God, in quotes, that thereâs nothing else wrong with his knee,â he said.
âNow theyâre going to immobilise it and will likely give him platelet-rich plasma treatment, which is whatâs being used now. Weâll see what happens after that.â
The coach said the national team are in regular contact with their players and Scaloni sent a message to them ahead of the World Cup.
âWe started praying every weekend that nothing happens to anyone, that they finish their matches. Weâre communicating with everyone via Zoom or directly by phone to see how each one is doing,â Ayala explained.
âThe coaching staff has divided up several players and weâre in charge of monitoring them. If thereâs anything that requires the doctor to come in, heâll take care of it.
