Here is the team I can see Ed Still picking to try and get his team back to winning ways.

Goalkeeper: Egil Selvik

Faultless in the defeat at Loftus Road and in good form, Selvik is sure to take the gloves.

Right-back: Kevin Keben

James Abankwah wasn't fit to make the squad on Friday and it's not clear whether a return is imminent.

If not, Keben will go again and aim to cut out the mistakes from Friday.

Centre-back: Mattie Pollock

Pollock is Watford's best available centre-back and is a certainty to play.

A return to the form he showed against Wrexham and Leicester City before the break would be timely.

Centre-back: Saba Goglichidze

Goglichidze has work to do on the physical side of the game after he spent much of the match at Loftus Road on the floor, but this is still Watford's best partnership at the back.

Still will want as much familiarity as possible coming into this one.

Left-back: Jeremy Petris

Petris deserves great credit for his performance through the pain on Friday, lasting 90 minutes with a strapped-up left arm.

Assuming there are no further issues, he is likely to start once more.

Centre midfield: Papy Mendy

Pierre Ekwah had a quiet game at QPR and Mendy was lively off the bench.

This looks like a sensible straight swap in midfield.

Centre midfield: Imran Louza

Louza was one who did keep the energy levels high at QPR and is sure to start again.

His fine free-kick was an example of the technical superiority he has.

Right wing: Nestory Irankunda

Irankunda was lively in patches on Friday but clearly also fatigued after a big week of travel.

Assuming he is able to recover in time, he will be back in the XI here.

Attacking midfield: Edo Kayembe

Kayembe sat out at QPR after an emotional week but will hopefully be able to return.

If not, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Mamadou Doumbia play as a withdrawn forward.

Left wing: Giorgi Chakvetadze

Chakvetadze lacked his usual spark at QPR, another who has suffered in the face of mounting minutes and niggles.

He is still the best bet from the start, though Kwadwo Baah and Amin Nabizada showed encouraging glimpses off the bench on Friday.

Striker: Mamadou Doumbia

Still revealed Doumbia had suffered a small niggle on international duty that meant he wasn't an option to start at QPR.

After an ineffective display from Luca Kjerrumgaard, the Mali forward deserves a go.

Predicted subs

Baxter, F. Mendy, Mullins, Ekwah, Bove, Baah, Nabizada, Kjerrumgaard, Semedo
