Robins: "We weren't brilliant to start. They had far too much of the ball for our liking but we sort of worked our way into getting on the ball and starting to create openings for ourselves. We had some good chances and didn't take them until the chance we got when we were played through. Tomas Rigo had a heavy touch in the first instance and reversed it into the path of Eric, who scooped a shot into the underside of the crossbar and into the back of the net, which was brilliant. We got confidence from that although we turned the ball over too many times.
"We still carried a threat which is something we didn't necessarily do last season. We're trying to adjust to that. At 1-0 we didn't manage to keep the lead for long enough because we missed some tackles. Basics of the game, Do the basics right and you win that game.
"We've had a reasonable pre-season. The game wasn't fantastic last weekend against Oldham but we ended up coming out on the right end of it. Then the real thing starts today and we have to be better in those moments when you've got a chance to score, a chance to take out an opponent - you've got to be right through it but jumped over and didn't get back into position, dragged across and the ball goes across goal, their winger is waiting, it goes in off Eric and wrong foots Viktor. It's 1-1.
"In the second half we ended up with more possession and we had a golden opportunity to take the lead wiht Sorba. He did so well and got himself into a brilliant position, just roll it past the goalkeeper into the net. The choices we make sometimes aren't the ones you need. Those are things that are frustrating.
"Bosun gets injured and I have to make that change. That was a problem. They get swapped over because (Wilmot and Talovierov) mustn't have spoken. We end up in a position we didn't want to be, a left-footed cross comes in and we've gone past it. (Idah) just runs onto it from behind our line and sticks it into the net. A massively disappointing goal from our point of view.
"Then we didn't have enough to get back into it and set ourselves up for an interesting end. Yes, disappointing.
"We need some players in. I've got to say that the owner is backing us to the hilt. We've got to bring quality in. Everybody knows that. That will happen. Trying to get it done before the season starts to give you that platform but we can't make mistakes. We shouldn't paralyse people but we know we have to get it right. I think that after game one this season we've got to make sure we get those players coming in who are going to make that difference.
"It won't work if people are going to go, 'Same thing, same thing'. We've got to show them and take it on board and we and certainly I do have to be better this season. We will endeavour to do so.
"The fact we've got a chance to bring in some absolutely must-needed quality is really welcome"
