Transfer news LIVE!

The summer window is already breaking multiple records as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool all work to wrap up statement signings. Arsenal remain keen on signing both Morgan Rogers, Bradley Barcola and Bruno Guimaraes, but are looking at alternative targets including Morten Hjulmand and Christian Kofane. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has now been linked, while Leandro Trossard is heading to Besiktas to raise funds.

Manchester United are keen to snap up Andrey Santos from Chelsea, having agreed a deal for Ederson, amid ongoing links with Aurelien Tchouameni, Alex Scott, Felix Nmecha and Ayyoub Bouaddi. Man City are also keen on Bouaddi. Chelsea remain in talks to sign Maxence Lacroix and Pep Chavarria, but a deal for Granit Xhaka looks very tough to do. Tyrique George is set to join Everton permanently for ÂŁ22million.

Tottenham have broken their transfer record twice in a week, after confirming the ÂŁ100m arrival of Sandro Tonali. Their next target appears to be Eli Junior Kroupi, with a ÂŁ85m said to be in the works, and Rafael Leao or Savinho. Liverpool could offer Harvey Elliott in part exchange for Adam Wharton, and may have fresh hope over Yan Diomande as they join the race for Crysencio Summerville. Arsenal 'done deal' for Meslier

Arsenal have agreed a deal to add Illan Meslier to their ranks, according to The Athletic.

The French goalkeeper, 26, is a free agent after leaving Leeds at the conclusion of last season.

His arrival should see the young prospect Tommy Setford sent out on loan.

It might also open the door to Kepa Arrizabalaga leaving the club amid reports he could seek a move this summer.

Arsenal move for Bruno Guimaraes could accelerate

Arsenal’s pursuit of Bruno Guimaraes does not appear to have been diminished by Newcastle team-mate Sandro Tonali’s £100m transfer to rivals Tottenham.

Newcastle seem unlikely to sell both Tonali and fellow midfielder - and captain - Guimaraes in the same summer window, having already seen Anthony Gordon leave for Barcelona, though The Sun claim that Arsenal have not given up hope when it comes to the Brazilian.

They say the Gunners still believe that a deal can be made and are set to return with an offer of around ÂŁ60m, having seen an initial approach for Guimaraes rebuffed.

Movement could now accelerate following Brazil’s World Cup exit.

Tottenham rule out Bergvall exit

Tottenham have told Lucas Bergvall that he will not be sold this summer.

Nottingham Forest were expected to pursue Lucas Bergvall following Eliott Anderson’s £116million sale to Manchester City.

Bergvall is keen to leave Tottenham in search of more regular first-team minutes, and Spurs were said to value the player at at least ÂŁ45m.

But Sky Sports today report that Spurs will resist any offers for Bergvall, with Roberto De Zerbi keen to keep the player.

Newcastle face Manzambi delays

Newcastle may have to wait to push home their interest in Switzerland midfielder Johan Manzambi.

Sky Sports report that Newcastle face stiff competition for the 20-year-old Freiburg midfielder.

But the player will not discuss his future until his country’s involvement in the World Cup finals, where they face Colombia in the last 16 on Tuesday evening, is over.

Arsenal not deterred by ÂŁ130m Rogers valuation

Arsenal have been told it could cost them £130million to prise Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa’s grasp.

Villa do not want to sell the 23-year-old former Middlesbrough midfielder, who is currently on World Cup duty with England.

But the Daily Mail report that the Gunners could open the door with a massive bid.
